About Me
		My name is Emily Karcher, I'm 22 and  on the brink of recieving my BFA in photography from Georgia State University. Most of the work I make is self portrait related with a heavy influence from classic pinup photography and illustration.         I love the work of Bunny Yeager, Gil Elvgreyn, and Alberto Vargas, as well as more modern arists like Pieree y Gilles, Barbara Kruger, and Joni Mabe.
			Along with taking pictures, I love  '77 style punk rock and 50's rock n' roll.  Some of my favorites: Nikki and the Corvettes, the Boys, the Briefs, the Exploding Hearts, MTX, GG and the Jabbers, the Adicts, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis, Buddy Holly, Sanford Clark, Dolly Parton, and Roy Orbison.
